The second instalment of the comedy of Yorkshire life, told through seven more do’s. As with the first book, it starts with a church wedding and ends with a civil one. In between, we attend a christening, the grand opening of a health shop, a farewell party, the inauguration of the outer inner relief road, and a funeral.
